7th & 8th Volleyball Slam Blanco and Bandon
By: Sara Holloway
With a score of 25-7 in the first game out of the set the 7 grade Braves had good spirits and smiles on their faces.
During the second game of the set the warriors were falling behind, so a substitution was made, Tonni Willis was now serving.  She stepped up when her team needed her, she made many aces. With help from the whole team the warriors pulled from behind to win, 25-23.
In the 3rd and final game Shelby Wiggans served two consist ant aces.  The team was smiling and kept good attitudes toward their opponents to win all three games.  The third games' score was 15-4.

The Eighth grade volleyball team won 2 out of their 3 game matches.  Scores were 25-16, 22-25, and 25-12.
These more experienced girls made many rallies.
Jenelle Thorton scored 7 pints in a row serving.  Many of the ladies had great strength and used it above and beyond the amount that was needed.
After losing one of the games the warriors seemed to have lowered spirits but that didn't keep them from winning the next game.
