Article written October 15, 2018

Last night, the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers  4-0. The Brewers are two games away from going to the World Series. Last night, Brewers pitcher Jhoulys Chacin pitched 5 and a half innings allowing three hits, two walks and striking out six without giving up any runs. Brewers star Christian Yelich was 1 for 3 last night and scored a run. Yelich is an MVP candidate for the MLB this year. Other notable players for the Brewers who hit well last night were Orlando Arcia, Erik Kratz, and Travis Shaw.

The Dodgers pitching was adequate last night. Walker Buehler started off pitching;  He had given up 5 hits, one walk, and 8 strikeouts. He pitched 7 innings. Alex Wood then entered the game for one inning and gave up one run. The last relief pitcher to enter the game was Dylan Floro who gave up one run. Manny Machado had a great game last night going 2 for 3 and having two excellent slides. But Machado’s efforts did not protect the Dodgers from being shut out.

Tonight is game 4 of the National League Championship, where the teams will face off once again in the battle for the NLCS.
