On Thursday, December 19, 2024 the RHS Future Teachers of America Club did their first movie night in the RHS auditorium. Two crafts were put together for the elementary school guests: a snowflake picture frame and a snowman craft. The attendees would grab a snack or drink from Sven’s Snack Stand.
Ms. Griggs also dressed up as Elsa, so that audience members could take fun photos with her. Guests were given glow sticks as they went to watch “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.” It was a very successful event, raising more than $500 for their events and activities.
Mrs. Bowden said of the event: “Our kids were rock stars that day, bringing teddy bears to the preschoolers in Jersey City in the morning, and bringing the holiday spirit to our community that evening. I can’t say enough good things about our students and their welcoming energy and strong work ethic. Miss Curtis and I look forward to hosting another movie night in the future!”
