Every September, Apple announces its brand new line of iPhones and other devices to the public. On September 12th, the tech company held their event which is known as “Apple Keynote” at the Worldwide Developers Conference in California. This year, Apple announced its three new phones: iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR.
The three phones are designed similarly to the 10th anniversary edition iPhone X with no home button and the Face ID technology. They all have the same processor chip (A12 Bionic), cameras (12 and 7 Megapixels), and similar design. So, what is the difference between the three?
Well, let’s start off with the iPhone XS. It has 5.8 inch screen display with three different variations of colors: silver, space gray, and gold. The starting price point is $999. Next, there is the iPhone XS Max. The iPhone XS Max is the larger version of the iPhone XS with a screen size of 6.5 inches. It also comes in three colors and it starts at $1099. Finally, there is the iPhone XR. It has a 6.1 inch display and it starts at $749. It is available in six colors: blue, white, black, yellow, coral, and red.
So, which phone should you get? If you want the biggest screen of any iPhone, the iPhone XS Max is the choice for you. If you are not interested in a big screen, but want a “super-powerful” phone that has all the features of the iPhone XS Max, then try out the iPhone XS. However, if you want a phone with color, the best battery life, and a good balance of everything else, pick the iPhone XR.
Other new releases include update systems for the phones (iOS 12) and computers (macOS Mojave). There was also the announcement of Apple Watch Series 4. It has a bigger screen, thinner body, and starts at $399.
